We assist clients in product development from i.e. beverage content through labeling/packaging elements with flair and passionate confidence.

Primary Design Responsibilities: meet business objectives, lead all creative aspects of projects, supervise the collaborations of all people/ departments contributing to a project, oversee all print/ web production/ output.  Additionally, team motivation and mentoring–all with high standards, attention to detail and a “we can do  more” attitude.

UNIFLEX CORPORATION  [9/1995 - 9/1999]

UNIFLEX  Manager Art Department, Supervisor

Creative Lead: Heat shrink label design and distortion. Quality Control.

I switched from international to US suppliers to decrease lead times and supply our products faster and more efficiently to our clients. US suppliers allowed more control over quality, schedule management and shipping costs. I reduced print lead times by four weeks and label lead times by two weeks reducing the entire process by six weeks. Companies were able to schedule fill or label runs on a more accurate and timely fashion. I was noted for maintaining clients through my knowledge of artwork, color and best print practices as well as having a personable personality.

FABRICA INTERNATIONAL  [9/1994 - 9/1995]

Rug Designer. Textile Design. Computer Network Design. Facility Improvements.

While maintaining my position as a rug designer I, additionally, computerized the outdated design and fabrication departments. In less than a years time, I upgraded the art and factory departments- taking them from gauche painted rug sample boards to beautifully printed laser proofs with accurate color samples, scale and precision. I facilitated the purchase of weaving equipment that integrated with the new design program(s). I implemented carpet cutting machines and composed and entered over 500 custom carpet colors into the proofing printer.
